Nautchiuk Environmental is 85% Inuvialuit owned by Denise Atter. She is one of many grandchildren of the late Charlie & Persis Gruben of Tuktoyaktuk. Denise has partnered up with Kure Engineering Solutions Inc. to offer excellent quality environmental and engineering services for our region.

We created Nautchiuk to be a key player in the restoration of Inuvialuit lands and our environment. We will carefully watch around our environment (Nautchiuk), with hopes of hiring beneficiaries as well. It is important that our land is getting the professional care that it deserves. Nautchiuk will work on any projects in the ISR to reclaim and protect the land which provides and nourishes us.

Nautchiuk Environmental Inc. is a majority Inuvialuit owned company. We offer Project Management, Environmental and Engineering Consulting Services in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region as well as in the NWT and Alberta.

Denise Atter
Founder and Director
Denise is an Inuvialuit beneficiary, a geologist and the vision behind Nautchiuk. She lives in Calgary, Alberta. She has always hoped that her education would be beneficial to the ISR one day. She loves planning, organizing and hard work. She enjoys the outdoors, camping, gardening and travelling.
Kurt Kure
Principal Engineer
Kurt is a professional engineer from Central Alberta and a farmer. He has worked in the ISR over the past quarter century providing hands-on environmental engineering services, the most recent being air quality monitoring and environmental documentation related to the Eskimo Inn demolition. Kurt enjoys the family farming lifestyle and being on the land either for work or play.
